As far as how big of a generator that Bad Boy Myers Pump needs, I was surprised at how low it is. That is a Two horsepower model that draws 26 Amps. Amps X Volts means its has a 2990 Watt draw and if you increase that by 30% for extra drain at startup, (2990 x 130%), it still only draws less that 4000 watts at peak pull.

I was surprised!!!!! Figured it would be much higher.

That's not bad, I think Generators cost a bit less then air compressors, just wonder how they take to being left uncovered and outside all the time on the back of a flatbed truck ? Can u see the differences in the big green Myers pump, and the smaller ones ? It can develop up to 500 psi! Now, maybe what we need is a speed control for the pump motor, like they  use on commercial ventilation kitchen fans.
