Every once in a blue I run into vinyl windows that turn a rustic color from SH. Even happens with house wash mix which is far weaker than roof mix. I can fade it out a bit with Gutter Grenade but not 100%. I dont know what causes this or how to detect which vinyl windows it will happen to.
never had this, I hope someone on here will have an answer. Sounds like this could make for some mad home owners. Do you wet down the windows before you spray the roof ?

Ed Just leave the window alone it is a chemical reaction once the sun hits it it will turn bright white again I promise you, but like I said the sun has to hit it, it wont work on a cloudy day.
I always wet everything in the vicinity. If its a roof/house wash combo, I'd weaken the leftover roof mix and start preppin the worst parts of the house. Like I said its 1 in a hundred. Not sure what would make this vinyl different than anyother vinyl.
I haven't had that happen on vinyl windows yet. I did have gutters today I cleaned with gutter grenade turn rusty but it rinsed off. I was wondering what caused that, maybe something in the gutter?
Ed, i have had the same problem on some houses. I use krudd kutter and scrubb the windows and rinse the heck out of them but i find when they dry out the orange goes away.
I've had the same problem. I once did a double wide house.....I always prewet the wall......I x jet the whole wall. Turn around and every window is orange. But same as you, it only happens once in a blue moon. Not sure what causes it, but the remedy I use is prewet, soap and rinse windows immediately. But if it's too late, dip the brush into some castrol super clean (amazing stuff) from walmart and good to go. I too, would like to know what the cause of it is.
