Hi Ken. Welcome to the RCIA.

I've passed your info along to a few customers that are out of my service area over the past few months. You should post some pictures in the certified areas. I have customers find me there from time to time.

I've been trying to convince Brian Wendling to join up too. He is missing some great link juice. I hope to see you around more.

Brian thank you as well. We are starting to kick with calls for roofs. There are more roof companies covering our area than there are pressure washers. I keep bidding against the guys that use a surface cleaner on a rope. I love it because that is labor intensive and high $$$.

Ken and Brian, Pennsylvania is a bit of a mystery to me as far as geography goes.
Where is Havertown PA ? Is it by Pittsburgh, or closer to Philadelphia ?
Evidently Google knows where it is ? I just did a Google Search for Roof Cleaning Havertown Pa and look what happened ?

No Blog, not yet. So, does Havertown have good Cheesesteaks like Philadelphia ?

I pretty much stay here, been busy with local roof cleaning, trucks breaking down, that kind of stuff, and all the rain yawn Can't clean roofs in the rain

We do. There's some good places close by. I was born in South Philly so I know a good cheesesteak. I've changed my way of eating to all low carb so I can't eat rolls. I miss cheesesteaks the most. Its worth it though. I've dropped 15 lbs in 3 weeks.

Wow, thats great, I need to drop about 30 lbs myself. I did a Google Search for Havertown PA and found this Video!

No roof cleaning in Havertown during a snowstorm

Some of the roof cleaning guys up north are cleaning during the winter. Not in major snow storms like this, but still cleaning in cold weather!

They are using their hot water burners to warm up a section of a roof at a time, so the roof cleaning chemical can do it's job.

Cleaning roofs year around is what we do down here, but as the Black Roof Algae spreads up into Pennsylvania and beyond, I can see you roof cleaners being as busy as we are down here.

Hey Ken, Welcome to the forum fellow Philly roof cleaner.

We wont say the name of the ginorous company that is pressure cleaning roofs in our area but I am bidding against them every week.

I have a ton of competition in my area and they still end up everywhere. I was even visiting my aunt last week in Wynnewood, which is you neck of the woods Ken, and I saw their truck outside the Sears hardware on Cityline.

Best cheesesteaks in Philly are at Chinks on Torresdale ave.. I haven't ever met someone who had one and didn't agree. They have been doing steaks and shakes since the forties. The menu is like cheesesteaks, fries, and icecream sundaes. They have old school flavored soda too like strawberry and vinella and chocolate.
Best hoagies in Philly are without a doubt, Jacks Place its a little corner hidden gem right off of Cottman and 95 at the corner of Hegerman and Wellington. You have to get the "downtowner."
I'm pretty sure thats what they serve in heaven so if you other guys can't make it to Philly do everything you can to get there. lol.

We get it all up here. Here is a video of a wind/hail storm that tore up trees inlate June.

Hey guys, I have a question, does Broad Street in Philadelphia run all the way into Havertown ? The reason I ask in there is a Philly Cheesesteak Guy here from Pennsylvania who "claims" his sandwiches are "the same" as one can get on Broad street in Philly ? My ex girl is an RN who went to Nursing school at Villianova in Philly. She claims to get a real Philly Cheese Steak, you must be near Philadelphia ?
Is there good places in Havertown for Cheesesteaks too ?

I'm familiar with it. I have been following Atkin's induction. Atkins follows a higher fat, medium protein, VLC (20 grams per day). I can't even eat fruit it spikes my blood sugar too much.

Thanks for the welcome. The guys I am coming up against are a roofing company. They bid $800 for just the front of a 2000 s/f colonial. I like that kind of competition.

I used to work up by the boulevard.. Clement and Muller on Grant Ave. One of my old bosses lived in Richboro. I used to hit a bunch opf places up there but this is going back probably 15 yrs.

Glad to se that you are noe a roof cleaner, I think I was the one who told you to check the RCIA out? Yes lots of roof cleaners in Pa. Must be nice to get Certified with 1 post. I will try hard to start posting some pictures since we take them every day.

Hey B.. nah I knew this and Don's forum were here, I just never did many roofs so I never joined. You know me.. forum junkie.. Chris and I go back maybe nine-ten years.

Now that I have been working on some rank for the roof cleaning page, I cannot believe how many companies are doing it up here!

Hey Chris, missed this post. yes, Havertown has a few authentic places nearby. You don't have to be in Philly. I have a Jim's Steaks (located on South Street and famous) about three miles from me in Springfield PA.
