Has any made a exstension between the 3/4 ball valve and spray tip?  I was thinking about a 3' pvc pipe.

I've found that using a PVC wand (like a threaded grey sprinkler riser) to be quite fragile.  I think the SH weakens it even more... seems to break easily.  I am currently trying an 8" galvanized pipe threaded into the ball valve.  Seems to be working well so far, and is much more resilient than the PVC.

Here is what we have used for 2 years plus now, I keep 2 extra pvc ball valves and fittings, plus 2 nozzles in the box all the time, usually the ball valve last 2 months or so and the sprayer last a month just depending.

get all schedule 80 pvc. hard to find the ball valves but check your local ace or Tru Value hardware. Some of the big ones have every fitting you can ever need
