One of my best tools I've begin using this summer has been before and after pictures of the jobs emailed to the customers in simple PDF format. Sometimes the roof comes so clean they forget how dirty it was before they called. This little flier serves as a great reminder. I've included a couple of examples. I've picked up 3-4 jobs from clients forwarding this PDFs to their friends.
Its one thing when the tell their friends about you, but when they are actively forwarding them pictures of their house, it really has an impact!!!!!

I've gotten a couple of emails/PMs about .pdf files. Just to clarify, the PDF is more of a function of the program in which you are creating your flier in rather than an actual 'program' itself. Many desktop publishing programs will allow you to save your document as a .pdf file.
If its not available under the "save as" function, look under the "print" function. The nice part about the PDF is that it can be viewed on any computer, it doesn't need the program it was created on to be viewed (such as MSWORD, or MSPublisher). PDF stands for "Portable Document Format", i believe. It also has the added benefit of not being easily editable, so once you've printed it, its there and someone else can't highjack your work as easily. It also has a relatively small file size, so you can send 6-8 pictures and use less than an megabyte of space.
If for some reason your desktop software won't allow you to save as a .PDF, research ADOBE ACROBAT, I think you can download that program and it will allow you save as PDF files from nearly any program.
