He’s going to use a helicopter for the high roofs. That way he can repel down to clean it.

RCIA's very own Bill Booz will be teaching a class on roof safety at the NCE, Pressurewashing Institute event in Charleston, SC September 28 and 29th 2010. I am loading him up with lots of safety equipment we invented over the years and such. Its going to be an awesome class. He doesnt teach repeling though. In 20 years of roof cleaning we never had to repel. However you can usually contact your local fire rescue and one of the fire fighters will come out on thier own time for a buck and totally set you up!

their is no need for repelling, but the use of a rope grab could be a great tool.

I climb the roof and walk the ridge and spray that way or

If the roof is that steep it is just as easy to spray from the gutter line or maybe even the ground?
