looks great like the truck. im just geting started in roof cleaning im afraid that pricing online without looking at the house would do me in.

Thanks. I try to visit the home and meet the customer for all local estimates, but this one was just over 1.5hrs away. Once you have a good number of roofs under your belt, the estimates are fairly easy online. Alot of times, I will look at several different maps to get multiple angles of the home.

Are you using Google Maps? If not what?

I use both Google earth and Bing maps. With Google earth you can look at the aerial view and sometimes a street view, and use the measuring tool to get accurate measurements of the roof. Bing maps also has an aerial view, but its taken from an angle, and allows you to rotate around the house. This gives you a good idea of the height of the home and pitch of the roof.

I could only find 2D street maps at Bing... What is the URL that you are talking about?

After you put in the address and the map comes up, click on the aerial tab and choose birds eye view. Unfortunately its not available for every address but I can usually use it for 75% of my out of town estimates.

Looks great! Too bad you couldn't leave the writing on the roof for advertising for a few weeks, but most home owners don't care for writing on their roofs.
