It was a real pleasure here as well. It was a pleasure to meet everyone that I could. I have a stronger understanding of the org now. Thanks Ron, Chris, AC, and all the sponsors.
Marcus, my gas tank was empty and the tires are bald. What the heck?? Mario!! It was a true pleasure meeting you, your wife and your very well mannered boys.
Had a great time. Finally got to meet AC, Chris, Bill and Mike. Really enjoyed AC's freely given knowledge both during his speech and sitting adjacent to him. Chris and Bill had some great things to say about this organization. Chris just flat out cracked me up ! lol

Count me in for Charleston too!!! Wherever the RCIA is, I'll get there too! The dudes I met are real, honest stand up guys! I think I met everyone in this thread!!! LOL!!! My brain is fried with knowledge!n Glad i brought a note book! The RCIA rocks! Thank you Chris.
Oh and I got to tell you how hard it was to get there for me! Here we go...
As soon as I got to the airport it started raining, The plane I was to get on wasnt unloading pasengers and baggage until it stopped raining, waited... waited.... stoped raining they got off we got on.. went to a parking place on the runway waiting for the weather to change south of us. Planes were leaving but they were going west and north.... Sat in that airplane for 2 n half hours... we had to go back to terminal, federal law.. When we got back they canceled the flight.... ALL flights going south were canceled! The line to whatever was about a football field long, no joke! To get another flight! It was a mad house!!! guys calling there wives to go online and book other stuff.... dudes calling friends to do the same to other destinations in florida and get a cab to the other city! It was like in a movie! I was about 7 or 8 in line to be served and this lady came up told me and 2 or 3 other people to follow her. I was in line for over, or about, an hour. I was like, I dont think so maam! I wasnt about to fuk this up! I put trust in here and followed her. Something told me too. I just made it on another flight! empty seats. Me and another dude had the same seat, his seat # was hand writen mine wasnt. Instead of getting there at 530 I got there at close to midnight!
I had just made it by one seat. In Tampa some speaker said something like " whatever happens dont give up, you'll make it eventually" or something like that. It reminded me of Gutterdogs and the chit ive been through and still here, and that flight.
The RCIA rocks! Half the dudes there had RCIA shirts (about half, I didnt count), including me. What does that tell ya?
There was a time for the RCIA to talk, the PWNA, and the UAMCC (they still around?)lol). That was Saturday I think.
When the UAMCC started talking, some people walked out. Including me. A good number of contracters, It was noticable. I'd rather smoke a ciggarette. lol! I thought I would be the only one to walk out. I wasnt.
I gave Mike Hillborn (think thats his last name, there were alot of Mikes there) my money and joined the PWNA.
Chris has done something no other org has. What it is I dont know.
I just put out there what I see. And It's just my oppinion sometimes.
It truly was a great event. Got to see a lot of old friends and meet a lot of new ones. Still trying to get my voice back and recoup. I'm getting too old to be hanging till 3-4am. LOL

Ouch on the 3-4am part.
Your gonna have to get to work. I believe were staying over in your area. Were in North Redington beach. I saw a few big filthy jobs driving around over here.

Larry, I had a hard time sleeping in my own bed! It was great to meet you, and sorry about the 3am thing. Your still young, lol, not quite as young as those two we seen (well I better stop) lol my son said he liked seeing those two young ones lmao
It's been a couple of days since the Expo ended and I'm still in shock. I was one of the the lucky ones who ended up with a key to open the Grand Prize, a HydroTek SS series hot water skid. My luck continued when I was the first one given an opportunity to open the lock. On my first attempt I had the key upside down and it wouldn't go in the key hole. I thought my key was not the right one, but before I gave up I flipped the key over and it slide into the opening. I turned the key and the lock just popped open. From that moment on I don't remember much.
The Expo was a great learning experience and an even better opportunity to meet people I only knew as a name on the Fourm.
There are many people to thank for the Expo experience. Let me start with Ron Musgraves. Without question I think Ron is the driving force behind the success of the Expo's. Ron was funny, serious, helpful and a down right good guy. Thanks Ron. I'll post my thanks to others on another thread I'll start with some pictures of the skid.
If you haven't made plans to attend the Charleston event, don't wait. You could be the next Grand Prize winner!!!!
Congrats on winning the skid Charles. Take good care of it and it will take good care of you. Although we didn't get to talk for very long it was great meeting you. There was lots going on. Looking forward to the Charleston event. Hope to see you there.
