you need to use sodium hypochlorite the liquid form. not powder. you need to get a holding tank with a top draw and a good hose reel and hose. lori should be able to set u up with what you need.

Doing your first job on a paying customers house with trash cans and the wrong chems is not a good way to start. You should really practice on your own house or a friends, and maybe not rush into it. There is serious potential for hurting yourself or the customers property until you have a better understanding of what your dealing with. A rushed rig may also be a disaster as fresh sodium hypochlorite basically eats the F*** out of everything. My best advice for you my soon to be roof cleaning brother is to take your time and post some more questions.

Your main ingredient is Fresh 12.5-15% sodium hypochlorite liquid less than 30 days old. It only has about 45 days out of production before it starts to weaken dramatically from free chlorine lost in a gaseous form.

Search for Apple cider sauce or Billy bob. These are both great mixes and one is more stabke than the other.

You can circulate your mix to mix it up.

90% of the answers to your questions you have or will have are in the bbs here, you just have to do some reading and use the search button, nobody likes to bottle feed or spoon feed adults here.

Obviously you did not read enough if you are looking at powders, not even close to the right thing, keep on reading the answers are there.

Why would you book a job without practicing on your own roof, family roofs or friends' roofs, especially if you don't know what to do or how to do it?

You don't want to go there and look like you don't know what you are doing, especially if they come outside and see you looking like you are lost. The worst thing you can say is that you just learned how to do this off the internet, they will probably tell you to get off their property.

I seriously hope you have a helper lined up to help and have insurance so you work carefully and don't burn their lawn/landscaping, it is very easy to do, especially when trying to work by yourself to try to save a few dollars.

Again, you really should read many more days here at least, get a helper, insurance and learn how to do this before experimenting on a customer's roof and possibly causing damage and looking bad. Customers bad talking you can really hurt your business before it gets off the ground.
