Lingering S H smell

I cleaned a roof last week and returned to the job about 4 hours later to check the progress of the cleaning action. The smell of S H was still very strong. I was at a 40 % mix due to the severe fungus on the roof. Is this normal ? The other roofs that I cleaned didn't linger quite as long. I have purchased apple fragrance and will probably use it on my next roof.

     Yes, it is normal. Depending on the immediate surroundings, the smell may be contained more so than an open area, thus the lingering aroma. No worries.
