As per copyscape.com
I just called that company and let them know about copyscape and how they stole both content and image from my website and to call me to let me know when it is removed from their site.
Sometimes it is the website designer that steals content thinking that they will not get caught but with copyscape it shows who is stealing content.
I will give them a day or so to respond, if they don't then I don't think they will like what I will do along with my website people, that is something that will haunt them for a while, maybe longer.

Its a shame some people can take the short route and screw a lot of people in the process. If this guy kills a homeowners exotic plant and fails to replace it. The homeowner with computer skills can ruin RCIA over night with bad feedback.
Let me ask has this issue come up before i.e. someone claiming to be certifed when not? Or is this an isolated case? I like the approach of contacting this guy and having him explain and/or retrack.
I am a firm believer you get what you pay for. Personally I have no issue with dues for membership. Though I don't mind donating either to support the cause. I joined this forum to earn credibility in the trade and to learn from those with the experience and teaching skills.
My feedback would be let the founders or board of this forum discuss and propose solutions and we as members support such.
"Will the roof cleaning products hurt landscaping or pets? Our cleaners are biodegradable and safe for grass, shrubs, pets and people. They contain no acids, solvents, chlorine, phosphates, peroxides or other harsh chemicals. We give the surrounding area a full pre and post wash to ensure safety."
No acids, phosphates, or peroxides?
So it's what?
Anyone want to guess?
I'm going to call and see if I can get an answer.
As far as I know there isn't anyway to kill biomatter without using at least one of these methods.
Edit: I just realized they say they are RCIA certified. If so who are you and please explain this quote.
Thanks

Hes prob using a pitch witch that is injected with sodium hydroxide. They claim it is low pressure. I called pitchwitch one day and they claim 500 psi coming out the nozzles are most common. Total bs thats its safe from guys that do this.
We mailed the Cease order and have to see if he complies. Phone contact has been infective. The symbols used by the RCIA may change and will definitely be protected by the end of the year. We are moving towards the paid membership and there will be stricter standards for roof cleaners and promotional materials only available to the members. As far as this being an isolated incident, it is not. It is not something we have had a lot of but this type of thing goes on in any industry, weather it is copyrighted, copyscape tracked or whatever, some people will still try and sell you a lemon and say it's an apple.
I sent that comany along with a few others out there that were stealing content from my site an email along with calling them and leaving a message on their machine about their website plagarizing my content and what I will do if the content is not removed from their site soon.
I got a call from some of them apologizing and how it was their web guy that did it as they paid for the site to be made, hosted and updated.
I just checked copyscape and things are good now.
Sometimes you want to spend just a little bit of money for a website but this is what you might end up going through, someone calling and emailing you for stealing their content from their site because your cheap web guy stole content trying to take a shortcut instead of doing what he was paid to do.
Only use reputable companies, the others can end up causing you grief or worse later on.
