I am just finishing building out a new Softwash rig.... perhaps the most valuable (repair wise) tool I've added, thanks to a suggestion of a pressure washing friend, is a small VICE that I bolted to the side rail of the bed of my Isuzu NPR flatbed.
If you've ever tried doing field repairs without a vice, perhaps using two crecent wrenches and/or a channel locks for removing fittings etc., once you realize how valuable having a good vice mounted, you'll wonder how you ever did without it.
I guess that depends partially on what's on your rig.
Here's a partial list for me:
2 crescents 1 large channel lock 1 pliers 1 set of screwdrivers (various sizes and shapes including hex, star, torx, etc) 1 sockets set (large, SAE and Metric) 1 hammer teflon tape duct tape hose clamps Fittings to fix hoses various viton seals and O rings
Other things not necessarily tools: Push broom Squeegee scrub brush (large and small) Garden Hose sprayer/wand/ballvalve and nozzle or any means to rinse with a garden hose Rubber boots Nitrile gloves safety googles first aid kit (including eye wash) respirator (w/ extra filters) couple of large carbiners hat for shade sunscreen cell phone cooler (full w lots of water) proposals, business cards, flyers, etc
maybe more than you were asking for, but... hey you can always ignore me, lol
I have all this, let me add a few things: A crowbar to hold your ladder in place when it is at too large of an angle A spare pump Hose repair ends Pump and engine oil A dental pic for changing o rings A drill, some various gutter and flashing screws, roofing nails and white trim nails Extra valves and gun assemblies, extra tips rope a spare draw tube hooked up to a 6ft. piece of hose with an end to fit the spare pump Spare trailer tire pneumatic jack 4 way lug wrench blow gun, air gun roof tar, and caulk gun buckets road cones MSDS and hazard sheet for SH within arms reach of the driver per DOT federal standards
Silicone spray is crucial for me for unjamming quick connects or stuck chem injector. Heat proof grease works well as a preventitive and keeps things well lubed. Also emory cloth for when quik connects just cant seem to lock when the tip swells (or for whatever other reason). i use the emory to aggresively clean the nozzles until it fits and the quick connect locks.

It will also shine up some shutters in a jam too!
