Didn't see the original question.

I have an "outlet" hose bib connection of the down side of the pump. I can turn a valve which shuts of the flow to the spray hose and diverts to the hose bib.
I then connect a 6 foot hose to it and put the other in in the top of the tank. I turn on the pump and cycle the chemicals to mix.

May not be the best way, but its what I do.

Thanks Matthew. That makes sense. I've been doing quite a bit of searching and reading on this site and have not come across the techniques used to safely and thoroughly mix the ammonyx lo, Iso, and floramask to to the SH/Water pre-mix. I appreciate your help.

My guess is the 'ol dogs get tired of answering:
1. Seemingly Silly Questions
2. Questions they have answered many times

Us freshies might have to get our own section ;)

I have a 50 gallon drum, I buy 15 gallons drums of sh, use a small pump and just pump the sh into my drum, then add water, then ammonyx lo. I use alcohol but don't put that in until I get to the job. I usually don't stir, cause it mixes up during the drive. seems to be working quite well for me.

Thanks Big Bob. It's good to know that this mixes up during the drive without the need for extra mixing. I wasn't sure how much effort to put into mixing all these. I definitely appreciate your input.

no problem. I actually got the advice from someone else on this site. I have had no problems with mixing as of yet. Just remember I am mixing in a 50 gallon drum. If I go to anything bigger I might use a mixer.

Thanks Scott.  Good suggestion using a mortar mixer and drill.  Seems like this would be quick and effective, especially with larger mixes (ex: 75-100 gallon mix tanks).  Appreciate your input.

Thats what we use is 125 gl tanks. We have 2. We mix everything onsite and it take about 10 seconds to mix it all together. Mixing onsite gives us the luxury of not toting around all that water. It takes about 10-15 minutes of prep time before the job, but for me its worth it.

Scott what is a 4' mortar mixer, so you mean like a 3' paddle mixer for dry wall compound?

What a great way to mix chemicals by circulating the chemicals with the pump. Sounds very simple and very effective

We circulate our mix through the system to mix it. Why did you remove your question, I never even saw it. Pretty arrogant to assume that you were ignored, for all you now the 18 views were all unregistered guests?? Pretty ungrateful to assume were are only here to serve you for free. We are busy cleaning roofs and planning a round table event. don't always see every question, but if you are patient someone would have found it eventually. Please don't be so rude as to make yourself into some kind of martyr. really this was a very immature and unprofessional cry for attention?? If you really wanted to remove your question you could have just deleted your post. We don't play silly mind games here so don't play this little game with me. We have much more important issues going on like the 2 recently injured roof cleaners and the arguments over saftey spawned by it.

Also if you add your chems to the tank then put the water hose in, the water filling will mix the solution. or you can circulate like we do or buy a mixer and yes people have different ways of doing it.

Seriously bro, I am really offended by the nature of your edit if you have some kind of beef with the forum than spell it out to me right here or in a pm whatever you prefer, but don't play the victim, or post arrogant little 'you hurt my feelings by not talking to me posts' were adults here.

And another thing Marcus, you were asked to fill out your bio and your signature and were told when you were welcomed here that if you did not people would not respond as well. so do us the favor of filling out your info so we know a little about you before you get all arrogant about what information we owe you.

You called HIM arrogant.  Wow

Perhaps his decision to remove the question was based on how the new guys get treated at times here.  Perhaps it was inexperience with forums at all. Perhaps it was a safety related question that deserved a response after being up for a day or two, and perhaps he figured folks might of thought it was too simple of a question to answer. Wrong or not, even if it looks like he took his ball and went home to you or not, I think your reply was the arrogant one.

Thanks,  Bill

Bill, I am not arrogant.  I'm new to this forum and trying to learn.  I'm sorry you were offended.  Taking my question off the forum was NOT intended to insult you or anyone who did not read my questions.   I have spent over 20 hrs on this forum trying to learn and interact with others.  I have complimented many people and NEVER directly insulted any one person like you are insulting me.  During all these hours of reading, I have observed many new people on this site being treated like children by some veterans on this site.  And I repeat SOME... NOT All.  There are many Pro's on this site who are awesome and have been extremely helpful, and I have thanked them over and over.  I have been positive in all my posts including sending my Most Sincere and Best Wishes and Prayers to the 2 recently injured workers.  I also offered to make a donation.  Maybe I didn't understand the correct protocol on this forum, but I'm far from being a martyr or victim.  You call yourself an adult and admonish me like this?  Totally uncool bro.

As far as my Bio:  I served in the Military, Fought For Your Freedom and Love My Country.

PS. Happy Birthday

No Problem Chris.  I'll make sure I fill it out tomorrow.  It's 1 am and I'm wiped out.  Enough reading for one day.
