Going to my Grandson's High School graduation today. He is val dictorian of his class and has received a full ride scholarship to Pikeville College based on grades and his outstanding talent in Soccer. Gets to live in the sports dorms, free meals, books, tuition and a job in the bank while in school. Total value is almost $100K over 4 years. With the other grants and awards he has received or will receive he also will end up with over $7K in his pocket. Real proud of Him. Hopefully he won't have to be cleaning roofs when he is my age.

We loaded up 2 vehicles yesterday and moved my grandson into his college dorm for the upcoming semester. Has two weeks left before classes start, but soccer practice starts Monday (tomorrow). It was real hard to leave him that far from home (250 miles), but he is very excited about what is going on in his life. I guess I'm just a overprotective grandpa. Looking forward to the great things he is going to accomplish in his life.
