Bank job? who is in?

okay so I have a bid to do on a bank? here is my questions. the bank is at the port and they have some concerns about my chemicals. Here is what she wrote   ( I checked the components of the roof cleaner, which include, as far as I can find out, sodium perchlorate, sodium carbonate and sodium silicate, also EDTA. The latter is a persistent organic pollutant. If you have any input to manufacturers, suggest they shift to EDDS, which is less persistent and breaks down more easily.
More details/confirmation on specific chemicals in the cleaner would be appreciated. This site is too close to the water for us to be careless. )  I am pretty sure on what to tell her but would like some advice first.  the other problem is that the gutters are one continuous downspout straight  into a  rock filter system that directs towards the plants.  If I mix the love thick and run a ton of water down the downspouts I don't think the plants would be affected? any thoughts on this one would help a lot.

Why not good old fashioned SH & surfactants?

You've got gutters there, should be able to bag them and have practically ZERO run off.

When you are dealing with a large body of water, you've really got to put a LARGE amount of SH in it to cause a problem.

Bag the gutters to collect ALL the runoff. there should not be an ounce of problems if its all collected and disposed of properly. Yes, the SH dissolves the bird poop immediately.

I would love to bag the gutters but some fancy pants made them one continuous pc, and it goes about 2 ft into the ground. cant bag the gutters, I think I can disconect the downspout at the top and attach a flex hose to the top and cach the run off then. I found out the bank manager is also the top dog in my home town on environmental issues like swamp lands, rivers, lakes etc. she is extreamly smart and had some impressive questions about the love mixture, but thanks to the RCIA I had all the right answers, she was satisfied that I am not going to destroy or contaminate the marine life in the port. I should of told her that the love doesn't compare to what the boats pump out into the port.

Maybe this will help. I did a lot of reading over the winter. Posted it here on the forum once before but someone took it upon themselves to delete my posts.
