Tamko Algae resistant shingles

Really!!! I have been a roofer my whole life and I have yet to hear of a case where a manufacturer would pay to clean a roof. And my personal opinion, the algae resistant shingles are not worth the additional cost. They still allow streaks to form after time. They still have lime in it.

Yep, in 3 years we have done about 4 of these.

We have been cleaning Tamko Algae Resistant Shingles here in the Tampa Florida area for years. Tamko is a good company, and will honor their shingle warranty if the customer contacts them.

We've done quite a few of these for different manufacturers over the last few years.

They offer a warranty but it usually begins to prorate after just 1 year and the thing they are prorating is the cost of a cleaning, not replacement of shingles.

This is another great sales point when customers start asking about prevention methods. If you want your roof clean and to stay clean you need to rely on professional roof cleaners.
