a common thing around our parts is that a business owner will walk the streets,whether it's a roof cleaning, lawn mowing, house washing what ever the business is, then they will put a flyer in your letter box with the a quoted price written (by hand) on it. it will say some thing like "We are proud to offer our services to you, we have inspected your property and now offer ( to clean your roof, mow you lawns what ever) for a guaranteed price of Only $XXXX

now here is another idea for you, if your truck, van, trailer is all sign written, park it in a street and in essence set up a advertising stand type of thing, put some flags on the trailer, hand out flyers etc just as you would if you parked and set up an advertising stand at a mall of something like that, then after a while move to another street and do the same.

No that's not a Fosters the roo is holding, it's Apple cider with some apple butter and some apple foam on top, it's the roof cleaners drink that puts claws on your paws, we like to call it "apple tea" it looks like pee and will kill a tree but that's just between you and me, get some in your throat and you will groan like a goat, give it to the fish and they will float like a boat, but for me it's roof cleaners tea it's the drink of choice for people like you and me
