As I read about roof cleaning, I look at possible future roofs to approach. How would I clean this one that is steep and has a Cedar chimney in the way with Skylights. I do not plan on walking this one.
It would depend on the wind situation if it is a fairly calm day, you could shoot that from a ladder. You would need a bit more of whatever surfactant you choose to use to compensate for the slope of the roof. If it is a windier day, you may have to climb on the from of the roof if there are gables and shoot the top half from the ridge line. This is one I would recommend using a harness if you do get on it.
Unless it is 15mph+ winds, you could shoot this from a ladder though with a decent pump.
I cant wait to do an A-Frame like in the photos below, as far as the roof in your photo , NP if you are worried about the cedar and skylights do not use TSP in your mix, the cedar is painted so it will be ok . you should do a rinse on the wood and lights though... you will figure it out, just dont be scared of it ... well unless its fresh paint then it might turn neon green, lol JK
What pump are you using ?
Make it a great day....

Nice job Bob! Did you skinny out across the top of the metal one too? Now that would be impressive. I have never done one that steep but like you I like shooting down when it is a tall roof. Nothing like a face full of luv in your face when you catch an errant gust of wind while shooting up. lol
I would never go up in a glider "maybe" a helicopter and I will fly however I don't like too!
We mixed extra Ammonyx Lo and the house had a flawless drain system leading into the woods he owned 5 manicured acres and he told us not to worry about it.
He is the president of the association and we also did another board member who write their web site, he said he would add us on their site. There is a lot of wicked homes in that sub to clean.

Weird, ive never even seen a roof like that! would be fun to clean though.
I am using the not so popular anymore Delavan 5850 and not knowing any better I like it... I have it set up with a separate battery and I also can run it off of the trailer hook up.
I have also attached pictures of a different house in the same neighborhood it is the board member who writes their web site.

Wow! Thats AWESOME BOB!! Congrats on scoring the roof! I bet the homeowner was very pleased. Steep roofs are fun and are excellent for the portfolio. Great Job man!!
Heres one we did a while back...wish the pics were more uniform.
