Here's another Delaware roof cleaned by Chesapeake Hydro-Wash yesterday. This one was pretty bad. Its hard to see in the pictures, but besides the algae, the left half of the roof was covered in moss. The no pressure roof cleaning revealed a light colored shingle under all the algae and moss. The customer couldn't believe the differance.
Have you ever had problems getting round yellow fungi off the surface of a tile roof? I even applied straight SH @ 12% drumed 2 days prior and kept in the shade. The fungi would not come off without some pressure... The fungi could not be seen until all of the black mold that covered it, was disolved by SH.

Marcus, To break the bond of that Mustard Mold/Gold Mold/Orange Mold etc...(that's what I call it)...You need to add a Butyl based Sodium Hydroxide to your Roof Cleaning mix for Roofs covered in this. This will break the bond between the Orange Mold spores and the Tile. Most of it will still be visible after the Roof is Cleaned but the rain will then be able to rinse it off. Without adding this to your mix it will be there forever unless Pressure is applied to remove it.

I also think that Chris from Apple said that the key ingredients of Apple Sauce would works as well for fungus. When TSP and Borax are mixed with the SH they act as a mildew and fungus killer.

Larry maybe I should try the hydroxide for cleaning concrete drives and etc, usually we have these dark green mold spots that is very difficult to remove, what mix should I use?
My enclosed trailer is basically just a rolling billboard. I use it to transport materials and/or equipment for larger jobs, and it hauls my motorcycles to the dragstrip. When I originally bought it, I planned on taking all my equipment off my 16' open trailer and putting it in the enclosed, but I decided to go with a flatbed instead.
