Thanks. I bought the rig used. The only item in it's original position is the large 225 gal tank. Everything else was moved to make the rig more workable. I added the ladder rack which gave me additional space for signage. I'm getting ready to place a sign on the back of the trailer with my web site and telephone number.

Just my opinion but I think the telephone number should be visible from all sides of your rig.

Charles

Charles,
Did you have the ladder rack built or did you purchase as one piece? I had a guy at a ldder warehouse give me some rediculous price for a small ladder rack so i obviously said no thank you. I was thinking of builfsing one but if anyone knows where to get a resonably priced rack I would be much obliged to know where you got it?

Thanks,
Mike

Mike

I bought the rack from a local company that services & sells equipment to pressure washing companies. It was used but was just the right size for my trailer.

Check with the quys who sell trailers. Racks are an accessory item for the trailers so they should have them in stock or can order for you.

Good luck.

Charles

I would put a ladder rack on your truck before I put one on my trailer.

originally I put one on my trailer and not my truck, I realized I needed it on my truck more than my trailer so now I had to buy one for my truck too.

So If I were you I would put one on my truck first, because their will be times you won't have your trailer for reasons like pulling a different trailer, cleaning windows, gutters, and etc. save some money.

I originally thought of putting the rack on my truck, but now i have a new truck and it isnt fully dedicated to work. I would hate to slip and put a ding on the truck with a ladder.smile

Charles,

I have checked around my area at local trailer retailers and they want some big bucks for the racks they have or to build one. I think i may build one myself with the help of a friend who can weld.

Mike very nice, and organized. I also like the different colors of equipment I do.

I have a question, how well do you like your chemical hose reel, how convenient is it, do you reel it up while it is full of chemical so that it is ready your the next job during that day, and how much hose do you recommend ?

If you have a nice looking truck I would certainly put some nice racks on it. I wouldn't cheap out.

Walk, I keep the juice in there when i reel it up. Its a titan reel 28" with 3/4 " i.d. hose and a 3/4' ball vavle. I rinse it once every two days whether it is used or not. I recommend a stainless steel manifold and at least 200' of hose. That is what i have and it works for me. Next i just have to get it mounted on the side so i can reel it off a little easier.

Oh at the end off each day i run the compressor and turn off the valve to the tank so it pushes out the solution left in the hose and i uasullay rinse it to if not that night the next morning. It winds up being every other day.
