Lori, are you saying this is a pressure washing pump that you can run full strength SH directly through the pump, if this is the case all other pumps will be obsolete.

If you can run SH directly through a pressure washing pump this roof cleaning market will go down hill, now everone with a pressure washer will be cleaning roofs, no special equipment, or knowledge needed, just spray SH through your pressure washer, starting from the roof and work your way down. Now you will be getting 250 dollars to clean a big roof. guaranteed.

I will make it to the Demo. Also sent a couple of emails today about the AM Lo did you get them. I didn't get a response, got kicked back 2x's but the others went through or they are Lost - in - space----. biggrin

Just wondering a little about a pump that can operate as a pressure washer and also double as a SH resistant pump. Typical pressure washer pump will run 4-5 GPM at 3000 PSI. Not sure which plastic type material can handle that type of pressure with longevity in mind. Will be curious to see the demo and see the pump specs and make my own determination.

Cat pumps are expensive,...over priced in my opinion,....so a specialty pump made by Cat is sure to be extra expensive,...at least I would think.

But,...technology is an amazing thing.

No more climbing ladders or roofs. we will be able to clean them from the ground. 100 to 250 dollars per roof.

does anyone want to buy my All-flo and compressor? all other pumps will be obsolete.

That's a lot of assumptions there Walk, we don't even know if it works yet. Cat makes some excellent pumps that can actually run acids through the pump, so I am very curious as to what they came up with. The first way I wanted to do this was with a cat pump!! And if it foams, there must be air added somewhere after the pump?? Maybe they are going to try and have us downstream it with a ceramic assembly?? IDK, lots of questions and we will see.... But really let's see if it even works yet.

PS thank you Lori, and Thank Rex for Me. The Flow actuated unloader you sent me is just ridiculously awesome. Idk why I didn't make the switch before. Rex set me up with 2 exact same assemblies for my gx340 and gx390 both running TX1510 General Pump Direct Drives. This is now as good as they get without switching to a water tank feed. We use them for residential concrete, commercial and residential decks, as well as wood prep for paint.

I certainly would not want to run SH through a pressure washer pump. Could you imagine how much overspray would be flying all over the place. There would not be any control like you have with a low pressure set up. So I am pretty sure thats not what this new Cat pump is all about.

Also, anyone with a pressure washer take it and put your roof cleaning nozzle in it,....I do it every time I wash a house. It's how I apply soap and rinse with a slightly smaller orifice. The distance you think you're going to get won't be any better than the All-Flo.

Will only shoot further if it's got serious GPM,...and GPM's equal alot of money when it comes to pressure washing pumps. Price them and you'll soon see.

I have a 10 GPM machine I shoot 4 stories easy on a calm day! So I'm going to be rocking with my new cat pump.

It is supposed to be upstreamed and they will have two units. One will be an 8 gpm unit!

Lori, what type of cost are we looking at for an 8 GPM Cat specialty pump? Walk, you haven't a clue what this pump has in store for longevity,...you sound like a sales rep.

Something else to keep in mind for those of you without a 10 GPM machine. It takes a lot of horsepower to run 8 GPM. I'm guessing the engine to run this new pump will be at least a 20-25 HP. Go price one of those engines. You will see that a good one is more than a compressor.

There are other super pumps out there also, why hasn't anyone jumped all over these,.....COST. Not enough gain when you consider the All-Flo and compressor set.

If I can shoot one whole side of the house from the ground and water the vegetation a second later I have alot to gain.

Lori you said you have two pumps one is an 8 gallon, what is the other 10 gallon? hopefully not less than eight

Jeff what other super pumps are out there? and I wonder how long these new cat pumps have been tested. I wonder if they have some sort of facility that this pump has been running for 24 hours a day times 50 weeks?

There is a thread on here where Chris mentions Wanner Hydra-Cell Pumps or something. Not sure the exact names of the pump(s). You can only spray so much liquid at one time without runoff being an issue. So, no you're really not gaining. what we've always wanted to gain from a pump is longevity,...lots of pumps can apply more than the needed amount. The All-Flo air pump is a good all around pump for a good price.
