At the end of every job I rinse the pump out and run it until there is no water left in the hose.

Is that what you all do too?

Yes, and if it is an old 12 volt pump, we "Lay Hands On It" and ask the good lord to make it work the next day biggrin
JK, but we like air diapraghm pumps best biggrin
I built apple roof cleaning with a 12 volt shur flo and hard work, banged doors till my knuckles bled. We all have to start somewhere. The delavan pumps of today are a far cry from what we started out with.

Youde be fine leaving water in the hose. Just make sure you rinse the pump good ant it will greatly extend its life.

If you can not afford the all-flo than call scott at BPH PUMPS and get the poly yamada with viton seals 1/2" it is about 200.00 cheaper than than the all-flo, than after a season by an all-flo. I have 200 feet of 3/4 hose on a titan hose reel and run the yamada poly air pump and it works great. I have had it for a while now, until my ground guy stepped on the air fitting 2 weeks ago. I used a 2 part resin to seal it in the housing with a couple of threads I had left. It has been doing good for a few weeks now, hopefully it holds or I will be buying a new pump.
