Got my first chem burn

I got my first armpit burn yesterday and so did my helper. I didn't know it until he shower me his red line from his forearm to his armpit, so I figured I better take a look see at mine and I popped my shirt off and had a red trail from my elbow to my lovehandles.
This is with gloves on too. We are going to tighten things up and throw in some more safety precautions.
I always loved Brian Friel's logo where he spells The roof Cleaners in the roof but I never thought one could spell it in their skin and its all too easy.

Check all your fittings because it can be as simple as a slow drip that eventually soaks your shirt or pants.

The fresh hot love can give you a nice chemical burn so you have to be careful all the time.

If you do have a chemical burn the best thing is to shower then go see a doctor because you might need the silver sulfadiene creme to prevent scars.

I used to wear a roundup backpack full of chemicals instead of carrying around a pale or bucket....then it leaked and I caught a burn I will never forgetdisbelief.  Went right through my shirt and felt like fire ants.  Got rid of the backpack......

LOL, once, long ago, I used a back pack sprayer. I was into lifting very heavy weights back them at the Gym. Like many guys, I had hemmroids from doing heavy squats/deadlifts. When the back pack sprayer started dripping,, I started tripping, as the hot love ran down the crack of my azz right to "hemmroid heaven" The pain was simply excruciating, could not walk, much less sit down, for a week cry

For some of those reasons and many, many more I will never use a backpack sprayer unless it is just a tank with fittings at the top so nothing can leak at the bottom and give you chemical burns.

That is the most horrible situation I can even imagine happening! How do you even explain that to the doctor?LOL!

"You see doc, well I'm a roof cleaner right, and I came up with our own blend of caustics and well I lift weights too, ............"

I'm not sure if that wrote that story on the chart. Chemical burn on top of a hemmroid; you can't even make anything up that could top that.

LOL.
