Yup....a lot of customer service has to do with setting the proper expectations up front. I like to tell them "its gonna look good when I'm done, but its gonna look GREAT after two rains!"

Not that bad, I would just hit it those spots again and explain to the customer that it happens sometimes. It may not be that you needed it to stick better. Many times you just have to hit an area 2-3 times, it's very common. We had one just the other day that as we were pulling away we saw a spot we missed in a hard to see area. We had to pull back in unroll and hit it. Just look em over real good before you leave and try to only leave a very very light brown. Most roofs you will see no brown at all left, so you got it, just hit those spots and lesson learned.
dont forget as soon as you add dawn and alcohol, it begins to break down the sh. [bill or other more experienced elders correct me if im wrong] if that sh was months old and you mixed it up into cider and let it sit while you traveled, talked to the customer,set-up etc, plus combined with all the other potential factors mentioned by others then you certainly have ur answers as to why it didnt work very well. in looking at the picture, it doesn't look that bad. rain should make it look real sweet. definately better than the before pic. u r gonna love ammonyx-lo. i mixed some up in a house wash last week and was able to use it on two houses as late as yesterday with great results. ive seen and found in my experiences so far that brown isnt neccesarily cause for alarm. always educate the customer about things like the possibility of some lingering brown streaks or white patches that may remain until it rains. if they are still there after that then u have done something wrong. remember that every job u do has ur name and reputation attached to it!
