Hello everyone! First off I have to say thank you for all your advice and helpful information. I am just getting started and have about all my stuff ordered (Thank you Lori!).
I have been reading/searching till my head hurts, and can't make up my mind on going with an enclosed trailer. I have a 6'x10'x7' tall trailer now and have been thinking about selling to get an open trailer 6'x12', but really want to have the outside for advertising and keep the equipment protected (kids out also) since I don't have a shop. I know that the SH will cause havoc, but if I add extra vents (it has 1 roof vent now) and vent my SH tank to the outside I should be OK? I have the undercoating spray to cover the floor/walls up about 3' and would be adding the rubber matting and bunches of silicone!! it has the barn style door that pin to the sides when working out of and a door on the side.
What other potential problems am I looking at with the enclosed trailer? I have a compressor for the all flow pump that will exhaust out the back and plan to mount the reel at the side door.
Thanks in advance for your help! I can't wait to get this thing put together and going, but respect your opinions and want to do it right the first time.
Noll

Depending on how you fill your solution tank, this might pose a problem for an enclosed trailer. If you use a pump, no probs, but if you use a drum siphon this would be a real pain trying to fill your tank.

you mentioned all the pros and cons that I can thinks of, just try it for a while and see how you like it. In this business you will always wish you had this or that.
Just keep the trailer and use it for a while and if nothing else you can use it later on for something else. I have one that is strictly for staining decks and natural wood homes.
I did leave out one very important concern and that is Fire, one time my burner to my hot water machine was out of adjustment and shot flames up to the ceiling of my box truck and luckily I caught it before my truck went up in smoke. The problem is when your truck, or trailer is out of sight you can't see what is going on.
The other conern is ventilation, once with all my equipment running including my burner I believe I may of burned up a motor due to excess of heat.
so I think I'm going to start using all open trailers and trucks. they will be easier to work out of.
The draw back will be exposure of my equipment and loss of advertisement.

Prestige - Thanks, I guess I will have to pick up a second pump for ease of mixing.
Walk - Thank you as well. I see your point for overheating. I was thinking of adding some extra vents and to keep the doors open while working. A fire extinguisher will be on my list of things to add. If I do have an issue, insurance will have paid for itself. The only thing running is the compressor at the back.
Great points! Please keep them coming.
