For metal roofs I use 15-20%  SH and lots of surfactant.  

Every inch of a metal roof has to be rinsed with a little pressure, there is no "run-off" rinsing effect here, and they can't be walked when wet.

Do you mean 15 to 20% stregth SH? or your mix consists of 15 to 20% of SH and say 65% H2O ............

SH doesn't come at more at 17% and it degrades very quickly away from that level.

Yes BC - its a 15% volume of SH, 80-85% H20...
I', in florida so my SH comes from Pinch a Penny and is pretty fresh...my pool store I use goes thorugh about 4000 gallons per week so shipments are always coming in.
