Ok…. Quick question, if you are spraying from the ladder. Do you start at the bottom of the roof or at the top and come down…..? I cleaned my first roof Sunday and my friends roof was steep, really steep. I walked part of it so I could reach the top part. I started spraying from the top and let the LOVE run down, when I renced it and let it dry, I could see that some of the black streaks above the guter line were still there…I just figured that the LOVE got weaker as it ran down……..I was out of sauce. The roof looked great but I sprayed all of it from the top down.
I made the sauce really hot , but I guess most people do the first time.
they could be a little more stubborn then the rest some times they may need a second coat. when i am able to walk the roof i also go from the top down so you didnt really do anything wrong i dont think they just needed to be hit again.

If you're sure you touched all the streaks with a good dose of the love, most likely a hard rain will wash them remainder off.
It the low area was just barley wet with the love, then your need to respray those areas. Sometime the low areas will look wet, but they didn't get a strong enough dose to kill the algae all the way through.

In your post you stated that you rinsed the roof. Why?? The longer the solution stays on the roof the better it works. How long did you wait before rinsing?
It was a good 30 min……I wanted to see the to see the results…I my have jumped the gun. now that I think about it there was a spot on the very end of the roof at the side edge line…I must have total missed it all to gather …being scared of the run out that close to the edge….I got it wet just not wet enough.. should have been ready whit more sauce.
Before I rinsedit ….it looked great….really holding well….shinny
Yeah man just hit those spots again and dont rinse and they should be good. When i first started i also ran out of mix a couple times good thing is you have this site which at the time i started i didnt have. make sure to take pictures every time.

Over the garage it looked GREAT !!!
30 minutes is a good time frame, if the temp is 65* or above. The lower the temp the longer it takes to gain max results. Have more patience next time. And don't rinse it.
