This is to help me and also help others on here! What's the worst color of shingles you've had to deal with?Maybe the ones that leave 'too' white of streaks or maybe the hardest ones to get rid of the streaks,or even if there's some that may be clean, but yet looks funkier than to start.I'd love and I know everyone else would love to hear what your opinions or experiences are with these questions. Thanks much as always
I would have to agree with Mike on this one. The lighter Shingle Roofs are the tougher Of the Roof Cleanings. Real Cheap thin Shingles also seem to let the mold and algae bleed through them and sometimes are almost impossible to remove. Some of my favorite color Roofs to Clean are lt and darker green Shingle Roofs, lt tan Roofs and darker brown Shingle Roofs. I actually wish I got more calls for Shingle Roofs. Most of the Roofs we Clean are Tile.
LOL.....I hope you're talking about the tile roofs there Chris.I've been roofing for about 21yrs and have yet to put on orange shingle. Not that people up here wouldn't do it,becaue of the Clemson Tigers,.but anyhow...lol

Clemson !!! Gaines Adams was from Clemson, we drafted him for Tampa, traded to Chicago, and he had a heart attack and died! Poor Guy. Here is an example of an orange roof, plenty here in Tampa to clean.

Yes, same here. White shingles, but old white shingles are the worst.
Roofs neglected for over 20 years consume tons of chemical.

What type of sprayer are you using on the end of that hose?
This is too funny. I normally never get a Shingle Roof to Clean and a couple of days after this thread pops up guess what happens... Here are a couple of pics of 2 Shingle Roofs that were pretty dirty in a Villa Community that we Cleaned yesterday afternoon. We blew out the gutters, Cleaned the Roofs, Cleaned the outside of the Gutters and also the Facia and we were in and out in 45 minutes. The after picture show it still pretty wet and of course it still needs a good rain rinsing but these Roofs will look brand new once they are rinsed and dry.
A big Kudo's goes out to Chris Tucker. Chris this was the Shingle Roof Cleaning that you refered me to in Palm Harbor FL. (Doug) Looks like I owe you ANOTHER lunch. LOL Thanks Good Buddy. We made him very happy.
One of our largest builders of townhomes/tract houses in this area used white shingles as his signature. To me they are a bear , seems like they take two or three good rains before the haze is gone, and I've had to spot treat several "misses" after the rains
Easiest to me is a tan/light brown, they always look awesome after a cleaning!
