Here is a roof we cleaned in Summerfield, NC yesterday.
I was on the phone with Chris Tucker while finishing up this job.
Not one of my better shots, lighting was not to my liking. Posting it anyway, in case I have any potential customers in Summerfield, NC who are looking to get there roofs cleaned.
Summerfield is a small suburb north of Greensboro NC
I tried a generic brand of Lauramine Oxide. It didn't work the same as what everyone has said about Ammonyx Lo. They're both the same chemical but the generic brand was too thin.
I ended up using an additional 90 ounces of dawn on top of the Lauramine Oxide for a 40 gallon mix.
I'm going to order some Ammonyx Lo and try it instead of the generic garbage next time.
Mike, I spoke with Chris last night about the generic. I was going to try the Ammonyx M. It is a little thicker. We are going to try and see if you can use less of the M than the LO. It will save on shipping overall.

According to my research Lori, The Myristamine Oxide (Ammonyx LO) will be far better, as a thickening agent. Can we call it the "Apple Butter"

LOL! I'm looking forward to trying the Apple Butter, thanks Chris.
No, I haven't been on in the last few months,...haven't even been viewing until the last few days. Figured I jumped on board to see what's changed in the forum world. Looks as though there was some inner turmoil that erupted between the leaders. One chief is usually enough, Ha,Ha.
I am interested in using this surfactant in place of Dawn. My first question is does it make nice clinging soap bubbles and does it have cleaning properties, or is it just used for "hangtime"? In the meantime I will dig around here and see if these questions were already answered.
