I have my first potential job that I am bidding tomorrow. His roof is a little over 3000 sq. ft. How much love do you think I'll have to use on this roof?
I think they amount you are going to use depends on what hose size you are using. If it's 1/2" you will use what gary said closer to fifty. If 3/4 inch expect to use more then that.
When I started spraying the love, I always made a 40 gallon batch first and made more if I needed it. You can always make more solution, but you can't un mix what you already made, so it could go bad faster. Hope this helps.
i havent yet...only done a test area on my own roof. my plan is to pre-sell a few jobs in order to justify purchasing the equipment then I will be doing my own roof and the roofs of a couple family members in order to get some practice before I do an actual paid job.

Alright. By the sound of it, I thought you were going to introduce yourself to roof cleaning for the first time on a paying customer's roof.

lol...no sir...wouldnt think of it. I should have 3-5 houses under my belt before doing my first paying job. I'll just book the job for several weeks out giving me time to get the equipment set up and a few practice houses done.
The amount of product to use on one give job depends on several different factors.
1. what color the roof is. 2. how old the the roof is. 3. how steep the roof is 4. the strength of you sh. 5. the temp of the roof 6. the nozzle tip that you are using 7. there are several more factors that come into play. i for one like to estimate heavy on my est. a general rule that i go by is that i figure two coats on just about Evey roof. now there are some exception were the roof is not bad and a little commend cents tell one coat will be enough , but mostly i figure two coats Roof clean nc
