I just sent you an email for 5, I hope all your orders are only for certified roof cleaners ??
Wow, don't know HOW I missed this post. Guys, I have been pre occupied with just trying to make a living. Here is a THOUGHT. NON Certified roof cleaners can "order them", but can't HAVE them until they are certified ? IOW, they pay Toledo Roof Cleaning up front, but Decals are held until Certification is acheived ? Certified guys get decals right away, others wait till Certification is earned ? Would this make everyone Happy ?
Works for me, but I'm not the one that is going to have do the accounting work keeping track of everyone and when they get certified.
Put it on ME, No one gets a decal until they are Certified, period! And IF I they have NOT called and satisfied me, or another authorized tester, they are NOT Certified, period. Guys, listen to me please, the local Economy SUCKS in Tampa. I have 4 employees that Depend on me, so they can eat. It is all I can do lately to keep my long time employees working. I could use some HELP on the Forum ? 1/2 my time on the Forum lately is spent keeping it from Stretching. Honestly, I would LIKE to have at least 3 Certifiers of Roof Cleaners Guys here guys. And REQUIRE that you passs 2 Certifiers for Certification, not just one. I think the Certifiers must be MASTERS.
How do you become a master? I would be willing to do whatever is required to help this organization any way I can. At present I have a lot of free time that can be better utilized making improvements.

To be Master Certified Gary requires at least 500 posts, initial Certification, and approval from me. We only have 3, besides myself. Bill Booze, Mike Sullivan, and Larry from Palm Harbor Roof Cleaning. We need to see if they will help certify our new students.
Gary, I am alright with holding the decals for the non certified people if that's what you guys decide on. I will check with Chris, Bill Booze or Mike before mailing any. How's that sound. Bill does that sound alright to you?

Well I'm ONLY 304 short. Is that close enough??lol If the others you listed aren't agreeable, or want some help, let me know. Maybe a new title instead of Master. Something like " Chief MFIC of certification and fraud & lie control".LOL LOL. Could I get your "approval" on that title?LOl

This works for me and I apologize for it being so dramatic. I appreciate the fact that you guys accepted my complaint and found a resolution. Doug, If you need help with whos who just call me and I will still be buying some. The certification is not crap, and It will get better as soon as people get on board with the right ideas again. There are now discussions to fix this for good, so I am again appreciative to see people working together to make this work.

I left you a phone message Bill. Man, things are s l o w here in Tampa. Trying to keep my 4 employees working! Mike Sullivan is working to re write the Certification standards! Thinkig about creating a temporary sub forum where ONLY a few have the password. That way, we can all discuss the furure of the RCIA !! We are having growing pains, that is all. NO one is "mad" at you for expressing your opinion Bill. You have always been a contributing member to RCIA, and your opinions are needed! I am a great roof cleaning, marketing, and SEO teacher.' However, my admin and organizational skills suck. That is why I have guys like you, Pat, Larry, Mike, Gary, Bill, and everyone else I failed to mention, to watch the Forums back. Thank GOD for you guys, I would be lost w/o all of you. Chris
I have a couple of question. Other than being certified with 100 post is there a certain level of knowledge needed on the industry, and if so what would that be? I have been certified in a couple different industries. Private investigations would be one of them. All have had a standard set on the knowledge end and you either passed your boards or didn't. They also had a number of credit hours which this forum seems to invite. Not trying to create problems here just having a difficult time digging up the info on this one. Maybe I miss something. -Mike

For now we take you through a verbal test and verify your insurance and roof cleaning history with references. This may become more stringent or change in the near future.
Well, I won't be ordering decals until I AM certified. It would be irresponsible of me and too much of a temptation. Personally I don't think I have EARNED the right to have them.
I am beginning to see glimpses of what is required to become certified. Still something of a mystery though.
It's great to see guys so committed to something, anything. These days people just seem to go around in a daze not really feeling or caring about much of anything. Much less having any TRUE convictions.
