I've been working on a new yard sign specifically just for roof cleaning.
I feel like my regular yard sign does not sell roof cleaning as well.
Here's my new 3 foot x 5 foot vinyl roof cleaning sign.
Chris, you remember that lady who called you from Pleasant Garden, NC right? This is her roof! LOL!
This is my current 24"x36" yard sign.

Thanks Chris! I sure wish I lived in Florida this time of year, it is cold in NC! Brrrrr!!
All you do is click on attach and at the bottom you can click insert or remove file.
Click your mouse where you want the picture to go on your post and then click on insert file.
Cold here too, Brrrrr .... So thats how you do it ? Coool, I think the pics come out bigger that way ? Look better in the post too, really catch your eye! I think I will go into the certified roof cleaning section of the forum, and make me a nice azz post with all my BEST roof cleaning pics ? Hey, how MUCH for each sign, I pay 5.50 each for these

YES, absolutely ! Not sure I would use RCIA though Mike "No Pressure Ever Used" No Pressure - No Damage - Guaranteed Safe Roof Cleaning "We Clean Ugly Roofs" "Roof Friendly Roof Cleaning" "Maybe You DON'T Need A New Roof" ?? "What's Eating Your Roof" ?
As MUCH as I LOVE RCIA, it means little to the average person, until you can explain it! You can't explain it, if they don't call ?
I really like the "What's Eating Up Your Roof" ?
Think about it, play around, but the number on TOP looks better, on this sign.
I need a shower, be back later

Yeah, that looks great! I am gonna ask my guys if they can do pictures ? I have some great before/after pics Roof cleaning pics are weird, ones you think will come out with dramatic results don't always do so. Now I know why professional photographers shoot so many pictures.
I like your sign. The pictures are pretty dramatic in showing the difference that roof cleaner like yourself can make in their home's appearance. Not so sure what verbage I would all use, just something that you have to play with.
Question - Do you put up your sign while your doing your work and take it down when your finished or are you leaving it their at the site after you have finished and left.
Either way, I still like the pics.

Nice signs. I like the last one you posted that had "No Pressue - No Damage" on it. The only change I would make would be to add my website address on the sign.
How do you display a sign that large in the yard? What supports the sign? How is the sign held in place?

I would leave it on the jobsite after I finished.
I'll have to make sure to pick it up with in two weeks.
Like Chris said they get stolen or throw away by the customer quick, so ask permission to leave it in their yard, and leave it no more than two weeks.
I am thinking of simply staking them into the ground with some 2x4's cut in half length wise, and sharpen one end so it will hammer into the ground.
3 foot x 5 foot is the largest sign I have thought of using.
I wanted to go with vinyl so I can roll it up for easy storage.
I spent a day putting out signs in high visability locations. I put out about 15 of them. I live withing 10 minutes of Delaware and Maryland so I put them out in 3 states. Not one of those signs lasted longer than 1 week. Most were gone by the end of the next day! My signs were not the only yard signs in those locations, but they were the only roof cleaning ones. My signs were the only signs taken. Gotta love chitty competition! One guy was even bold enought to replace my sign with his!
I gave up putting my signs out anywhere but at my customer's home. I even had one customer call me to tell me that she caught somebody pulling my sign out of her yard. He claimed he was from the township and that yard signs were against township ordinances, but he wasn't taking the four signs at the next door neighbor's house that is being renovated. She told him she was calling the police and he jumped back into his out of state truck and sped away.
I guess I must have my competition scared or something
