Hey guys! I am an extreme newbie here. I have launched my roof cleaning company on paper, have my marketing plan ready to go. Equipment is mostly purchased...I just need to know where I would buy my SH. I live in the St Louis area and I have found a company online here in St Louis that says that they sell it. I am calling them Monday to see what the cost is. What would be a good price on this stuff? I had lunch with a friend who owns a pressure cleaning company  and he was telling me like 13$ a gallon. Dear God I hope thats wrong and that he misquoted it. Any help from you guys is greatly appreciated. I look forward to hearing what you have to say.

The prices you posted are right at 50% off what is posted on their website. Sounds like a deal. Will have to check about shipping costs to see if its feasible.

I've contacted many companies and have gotten good price for SH but shipping and handling was actually more than the SH !!
  Found a co. that delivers to my home town, Hawkins Chemical Co. $3.63 a gal. and he said that price could decrease as quantities increase.
  Contact the water treatment plant nearest you and ask who they get chems. from.
  May say you a bundle in shipping !

We find that the price of SH is negotiable. Find at least 3 - 4 vendors in your area, if you are lucky and play them against each other to get your best price. You are paying for a whole lot of water..... and someone's new car payment!

Shipping will kill on somthing heavy like that we use farm supply stores we had been using 15 gal drums for our house wash but i'm guessing we will start with 55 in the spring
