One promotion I offer is a free driveway or walkway cleaning with a roof cleaning. I offer the promotion only up to a 20' x 20' area. This special usually does not take more than an hour to complete and when people see the difference it makes to the curb appeal of their home, the sale is usually completed. If you are going to offer free roof cleaning with referrals I would up it to 4 and make the other 4 customers sign your contract to the roof cleaning, so that way you don't have to make them pay and you would not have to worry about trying to reimburse the customer. Another promotion you can give is to put a yard sign or two in the customers yard for 30 days, to give you recognition throughout the neighborhood, for a slightly discounted roof cleaning price.

I plan on doing it again this year. Call it our Spring Special. And end it March 31st. I might replace it with other small specials For Memorial Day, 4th July, Labor day.

Im also going to send all 09 customers a one time 10% off letter. Maybe even send all 09 estimates I didnt get a flyer with the Spring Special on it.
