Just thought that I would let you know that we carry a dual manifold option for your All-Flo air diaphragm pumps. This allows you to pull from two tanks and mix.

Ask all flow engineers if enough suction lift for pulling from tops of dual tanks ? HOW much is max length of suction hose to EACH tank ?
Did you find an answer to Chris' question about suction? Also, is there a way to accurately meter and adjust the SH in, or are you stuck with 50/50? I've read that a pinch valve was recommended by Chris once, but that doesn't seem accurate enough.
We always pull from the tops of our tanks vs flooded suction with a bulkhead.
I was told once by an engineer that if u have 2 250 gallon tanks, and one if full up with water, and the other one has 100 gallons S H in it, and you use bulkheads (flooded suction) that the flow out of the bulkheads will NOT be equal
Here is why, the one that that has 250 gallons of water will flow faster then the tank with 100 gallons of water, simply because of all that extra weight forcing the water out of the bulkhead.
So much for your 50/50 flow, huh
When you Suck out of the Top of the tank, this is no longer a factor, because in effect, Gravity is neutralized by the suction (pressure differential)
So, to effect a change in the mix ratio, all one need do is vary the amount of suction (pressure differential) in the feeds coming off the dual manifold.
A simple pinch valve in one of the lines, or even larger or smaller diameter intake hose on one side will do this.
Heck, once could even use a ball valve inline with one of the intake hoses.
But a ball valve is a NON Linear device. Some Pinch valves are numbered and pretty darn accurate and repeatable.
Plus, they go OVER the intake tubing/hose. In a dual manifold system, we feel it is important to use CLEAR intake hose, to make sure Both intake hoses are primed, and stay primed, or you will be sorry, especially if you lose the prime on the water side, and start spraying PURE SH
