This roof we got by putting a Post Card in his newspaper slot! He was amazed what we did. I told him i would put his roof on our next post card. So we are going to mail him a postcard when it's done.
Postcards make excellent flyers too, here is why. When you put em in the mailboxes, the mailman thinks they are mail, and dont remove them.' Here in Tampa, if a mailman finds a flyer in mailboxes, they TAKE them out! Postcards often go un noticed, and you can put a lot of chit on a postcard too. Good Job, like the box truck too !!!
The old postcard had one of the b&a's from the video in my other thread. Here's the basic rule of thumb with postcards: 1. HEADLINE Like "What's Destroying your roof?" 2. Proof/Example like B&A's 3. An incentive: We offer side walk or Patio cleaning Free 4. A call to action. As simple as "call me" LOL sounds dumb but they don't take a next step unless you tell them to. 5. ONE AND ONLY ONE service per card. We use 6X8 inch. Hope that's helpful. I personally recommend a professionally designed card.
Thanks for the heads up on the web site www.gotprint.com. I created a quick layout for a 4x6 post card and placed an order for 1000 to check out the quality.
I was amazed at how quickly the job was completed. I uploaded my file last Wednesday. They sent me a proof via email to approve the same day. I approved the proof and today, 1 week later, my postcards arrived via UPS. The quality is excellent.
Some of these cards will be mailed but the majority will be placed between the door and door jam. Works just as good as a door hanger and is cheaper.
