Cleaned a roof today in the 101* heat, with a heat index of 118*. Several times I thought I was going down. Had a second roof sheduled for this afternoon but called th HO and rescheduled for first thing tomorrow morning. This roof has about 1.5" of moss growing on about 40% of the roof, so I know it is going to take a while.
Weather broke a record today that was set back in 1930. High temp during the day, and the early morning temp. At 6:00 A,M. today it was 83*. Makes you wonder what this winter is going to be like

Man its crazy out!! I started at 5:30 am and my shrit was soaked by 8. If you dont alreeady have one Lowes has the blue 5 gallon water coolers with the stand for 25 bucks. Be safe and drink water!

Almost forgot. I also had 2 gentlemen from around Nashville drive to Louisville today to accompy me on this job site. Both are interested in starting a company in the Nashville area. They have been on here doing a LOT of reading and searching, but said when you see it in person it all comes together and their confidence level went thru the roof. They are working on their website, equipment, and legal stuff and hope to be cleaning roofs in a couple of weeks.
