Has anyone ever offered gift certificates for roof cleaning? Could be a winner if promoted right. Maybe offer like a $300.00 gift certificate for $275.00 or even $250.00. You get paid up front, perform the work sometime in the future, and keep your bills paid  during the winter. Also gets you a chance to upsell your services when the weather breaks and you actually do the work.  Just a thought!

I think the ONLY way you could sell gift certificates is that if you had a established store front; facility.

Have not been involved long enough to decide what the average $$$ is in Louisville. The figures I used were just a reference point. If someone, parent, friend, business associate, wanted to give a gift with a $250.--$300. range, and they knew the receiving party needed their roof cleaned, a gift certificate would be a good "start" towards getting it done. Then your up-sales ability comes into play to seal the deal. You would already have the funds from the gift sale, so you could be a little more flexable on the deal.  A lot would ride on how and where you presented it.
One of my "MOVING MESSAGE SIGNS" would work GREAT for this purpose. lol
