Just make sure you don't use it on tinted windows because it may lift the film of the window.

it doesnt hurt the windows and if it dries just wet it again and rince it off i havent had any problems yet. As far is tint goes most tint ive seen is on the inside of the window and even if its not i dont think the ammonyx will harm the film anyway it has no amonia in it

It sounds more and more like Billy Bob is majical stuff.  I'll do some testing in extreme situations just to be sure.

For the record, I just completed an "outside" window film (tint) job but, 99% of tint is in fact, on the inside of the glass.  I can't tell you anything about that outside film though because the customer purchased it and I installed it.  Without ever using Billy Bob, I'd still be pretty scared to mess with any film.  It's often very finiky stuff and very expensive to replace.  Better safe than sorry.  The term "Waiver" comes to mind.

It's good to know that with all of the hazards that we need to be mindful of, window film shouldn't be one of them.  I'd bet that tinting is much more popular down south.  Tinting (since it is inside work) gives me a little something to do in the winter months here in Pennsylvania.

i dont use TSP because it etches paint and most of the houses i do have painted trim and stained driveways i dont want to repaint them otherwise i would use it

MY MIX FOR A TILE ROOF 100 GALLON
50 GALLONS OF SH
1/2 GALLON AMMONYX LO
1 1/2 GALLON ISO
1/2 GALLON SODIUM HYDROXIDE
32 OZ FLORAMASK
THE REST IS WATER

THIS MIX CUTS THE ALGE GREAT

MY MIX FOR SHINGLE ROOF 1OO GALLON
35 GALLON SH
1/3 GALLON AMMONYX LO
1 1/2 GALLON ISO
25 OZ FLORAMASK
THE REST IS WATER

Hi Billy Happy New Years. Billy I didn't realize that we are to use that much ISO, is that correct? and who is a good source of sodium hydroxide. Has any body ever tried using sodium hydroxide as a paint stripper to remove semi- transparent stains off decks, if so how did you mix it?

Hello Chris Francis !!!!!
Chris from Apple here old friend, nice to see you here.
Yes, several are using the Amonyx LO is house wash mix.
It is just like Dawn, only a lot better, and will not eat your chlorine up!
I have been told it is easy on windows, as far as spotting goes too.
Don't use TOO much, it is powerful chit, and if ya use TOO much, it will take too long to rinse, IMHO.
For us , that is, we clean chemically, since we do not own a pressure washer.
We just use a garden hose to rinse screen rooms, houses, etc.
Maybe with a pressure washer, you could use more, rinse faster ?
Billy from H2O cleaning would know, PM him Chris.
We use it on roofs and really like it, especially after a good rain, makes the roofs look really nice, and our work stand out from the "I only use chlorine and water guys"

Ammonyx acts like Dawn. It is a surfactant and helps the SH 'sit' longer on the surface. It also foams up a bit.

Hi Lori (PWP),
I must have missed your answer to Doug's question about Floramask. Do you carry it?

Thanks,
Wayne

It is much stronger then Dawn, Lori.
I have some liquid hand soap in the bathroom.
It was 1/4 empty
I added Amoxyz LO to it, mixed well, and have a hand cleaner that a 1/4 squirt of has more suds and cleaning power then I really need.
It takes forever to rinse your hands, but when rinsed, my fingernails shine!
Works great in the laundry too!
We make our own dish soap with it.
Wonderful stuff!
Just NOT for automatic dishwashers, LOL
Bubbles all over the floor.

Yes, I just received to gallons from Lori today.  This is some good stuff.  Actually cheaper than using Dawn. $15.00 a gallon.
