Yeah, That is about the same for NP 9. Gotta be CAREFUL, and realize you are dealing with a PURE Surfactant, not dish soap !!! Heck, I made my own dish soap with some NP 9, a little alcohol, and mostly water. It SMOKES Dawn
Billy what can we expect, will it be all sudsy, white, like a roof shampoo, will it look cool or what?
i mean does it really help clean too or does it just help the cleaner to stick

Ok Clyde, here is a good way to think about it. When we do laundry, we use detergent and bleach sometimes. Only bleach will not clean the dirt out of clothes. On a roof, there is both dirt, and algae/mildew/mold. The chlorine removes the plant matter by a process called oxidation. In common words, it nukes it. But, chlorine will not remove dirt, so we use a surfactant. The surfactant works better for removing dirt, and also aids the chlorine in the following ways. It increases dwell time by making the chlorine/water solution more sticky. Plus it kinda pre dissolves the dirt so the mix can get down to business faster. You CAN clean a roof using nothing but chlorine/water. But, adding a surfactant like Amonyx LO makes a better looking final product. The alcohol added to the mix makes the cleaning faster, and the sodium hydroxide Billy from H20 is using introduces another cleaning factor into his tile roof cleaning mix.
your just an amazing person, you always take the time to answer peoples questions here on this forum. I have never seen you favor any group of people here either, you treat everyone the same a Newby or a veteran. As always thank you.

Is there an issue/history with TSP "etching the paint?"
Hey Jeromy
TSP has been a favorite product to prep something before painting, so I imagine it would at the least dull painted objects if not etch them, and you also have to be concerned about letting it dry on glass such as windows. always do test spots and experiments till you feel comfortable with what your using.
you have to be careful getting cleaners on windows because when it dries it could leave a soap film which are almost impossible to get off. I will have to ask Billy about the Billy Bob.

Hi Lori
Lori for the last 10 years I been buying Sodium Percarbonated cleaners designed for wood restoration and a rust remover called White Ox from Envirospec, Is this something that you carry? because with your excellent service It would be more pleasant getting all my supplys from you.
Thanks Chris and Clyde. I was just on a different thread regarding "Billy Bob" and I kind-of answered my own question. Like Chris suggested, I will try this stuff on some windows and report the results.
Thanks so much for your help guys!
