Just curious if you guys use just one coat on average? I know the severity of the infestation is the critical variable, but do you guys generally apply more than one coat?
Thanks and have a great weekend, Brad

Normally 1 good heavy coat and then some spot coating here and there....I have on occations though had to apply as many as 4 coats on a Roof due to infestation as in the case with this Tile Roof Cleaning in Clearwater Florida.
I've done as many as 5 on a tile roof. Shingle seems to always be less.
It is no "SIN" to have to coat a roof a few times, as in the case of a tile roof, or even a shingle. On a shingle roof, touching up about 25 percent of the roof is "normal". Any less can mean your mix is too strong
Sure, strong roof cleaning chemical solutions clean first pass sometimes. But, the faster it cleans, the more damage potential to grass, plants, paint, windows, etc, etc.
And, contrary to what some may THINK, I have seen firstbhand the granule loss damage to a shingle roof I did, by using too strong of a roof cleaning chemical solution!
