has anyone had any luck or experience with google's sponsored ad spots the highlighted area's on top and on the side its a pay per click add so the bill is based on the hits you get whitch sound nice

I have a hard time even finding my own site on google. But, according to my tracker for my web site, some one in D.C. keeps going to my page. Hmmmm yup, I paid them.
Unless you have not a clue as to what "search optimization" is or means, you're better off without it in my opinion.
You set up a cap like X amount of hits (clicks) per day, and I have found many to hit their limit everyday without ever being able to justify it. In other words, you have no guarantee that you are receiving the work and you can count on receiving a fat bill at the end of each month.
I know many small biz owners who have done it, and a couple guys who are in the biz. Whenever I ask them how it turned out for them, it was like pulling teeth...
thanks for the info it wasnt the monthly budget i was concernrd about like you said the budget is set by you but it is plus a $115 monthly service fee and a $700 set up fee thats were i started to back up a little a see if anyone else tried it
