They also work great for demos, but I would not do a whole roof with one.  Delux sells a small pump, 75 feet of hose and a gun for around $150.00.

When I used pump ups long ago,..I remember the best thing that happened was when it stopped spraying and the roof was about 3/4 done.
So I had to finish right............I took the top off the sprayer and just poured it down the roof a few times,..that is when I realized the difference between soaking coverage and the spritz coming from the wand.It cleaned sooo much better when I poured it,..and I thought,..ok,..new plan,Ha,Ha...

Nice, Jeff! I was wondering if the roller might be a better option for someone who isn't willing or able to spring for a new pump?

LOL!  They might as well stick to bagging groceries, pumping gas or whatever they were doing before.

If anyone even considering making a living starting their own business can't even spend a lousy $120 for a good 12V pump, they are doomed to fail.

I agree with the above posts. If all you can invest in starting a business is $9.99 for a pump up sprayer, you are not ready to start a business yet. Do yourself a favor and wait until you can do it right. It's still about the cheapest business to start up in existance! Plus, about the only one that more than pays all startup costs on the first job!
