I've been researching the Line-X spray in bed liners. Maybe if you were to treat the floor and partially up the sides. Also, it is very wise to run a vent pipe from your tanks to the outside. I believe it is the gases that cause most of the damage. Providing you are leak free.
Sorry guys i just realized i don't have allot of pictures of my rig. her is one with my helper. i will bring you more in the next week or two.things are slow here and i have plenty of time..lol Roof Clean NC
Nice rig Tom. I noticed that not many guys use hose reals. I've heard an awful lot about leakage so, I guess that it's not a big surprise. Is that I hot water pressure washer that I see on there? How does that single axle trailer handle the weight of a full load of water?

Dang Pat!! Things are happening down there in SC eh? Some clever use of space.... You are the 1st guy that I've seen to carry a 40' ladder on his rig. Up here in Montgomery County PA, 19438, we roof cleaners require a big ol ladder for just about every job. Lot's of steep/high roofs. Ya know I don't even see a ladders on some of these guys rigs. What's up with that?

YES IT IS A HOT WATER PRESSURE WASHER. THE TRAIL PULL'S GOOD FULLY LOADED. THE TRAILER HAS A HEAVY DUITY DEXTER AXLE THAT IS RATED 5000 POUNDS.I HAD A LOCAL TRAILER BUSINESS CUSTOM MAKE IT FOR ME.THE TIRES ALSO ARE HEAVY DUITY. I THINK THEY ARE 10 PLY.HERE ANOTHER PIC I FOUND ROOF CLEAN NC
Thanks for the explaination Tom. I had my doubts about that single axle. I guess that it would be cheaper overall to use the single axle even if it cost more to get that heavy duty set-up that you've got. Also, thanks for the all of the pictures. They are great. I have yet to build my rig and allthough I'm probably going to let Lori set me up (soup to nuts), it is great to see all of the various ways people people "role".

I realy appreciate seeing things like some guys use "off the shelf" 3/4" hose and the various tanks, tool box mounting, ladder storage..... I've seen so many good ideas, I'm not sure what I want to do anymore. As much fun as I'm having discovering new things, sometimes I wish that somebody could just make up my mind for me.
So much info. So little brain!!

Nice looking rig. The hills and area code threw me off, though. Which side of town are you? The signs will get you noticed, for sure. Love the web name.

We actually built the truck over in West Virginia w/ a friend of ours (that's why you see the hills in the background). Also that number was just a fake number. It's been updated to 317.771.4660. That's our business number. We did not have it yet when the graphics were designed.

Hey Danny, Nice rig. Hey wanted to let you know there is a guy on ebay selling stainless simulators for 129.00 they really dress up these trucks. I think you probably seen them on my rig. Thanks, Doug
Have you tried looking on Craigslist for a flatbed truck? We looked at various auction sites, Craigslist, etc. and there are a number of good deals if you research hard enough and are lucky. We ended up buying our truck (1992 Chevy 350 flatbed, 131,000 miles) from a lead off of Craigslist for $2,000 tax included. We had a mechnic check it out and we put on 4 new tires, exhaust, back springs, and a new windshield (total cost $1,250) to raise our investment cost to $3,300 for our 1st truck. Sorry I don't have a picture to post (yet) but will have some soon. You don't have to go overboard on a truck. Who knows the difference in a 1992 or a 2002 truck anyway. Our truck runs great, is mechanically sound, and the body is in excellent condition. Shop around and Good Luck.

We're using telescopic ladders (total length 24') that collaspe down to 6'. We left room between the cab and the tanks to place our ladders. We will add ladder racks in future if we find the need. Sorry, were just short (under 6') white boys who can't jump.
