PERFECT!!! Thanks for the pictures guys. This is in fact the reason for this thread. I can understand why some guys are holding out on us (like Chris says). You guys invest a huge amount of time and energy in creating your own little masterpiece. I suspect that some folks just don't want to give up their secrets. ON THE OTHER HAND, one of the main reasons for this board is to create compent professionals. The more knowledge that we all have, the better we look as an industry.
Yall have been great though. Really, thank you all!!!

I gotta confess that I didn't expect that your rigs would be so "naked". I kind of expected to see all kind of crazy little gadgets and containers for tools, bags, connectors, dead bodies, buckets, rags, gloves, ladders, etc.
I subscribe to the theory that "less is more" so I couldn't be more impressed with your set-ups. I would kill for a rig like these.
I don't know how to ask this question without getting teased so, I'll just ask..... How long is your rig?
Chris, what is that black mat that appears to be covering the decking of your rig?

That is rubber sheeting used for escalators/conveyor belts, etc. I glued/screwed it down on the bed of truck to protect it.
Remember, some of us are NOT pressure washers, we clean roofs. Less is more, for many of us. KISS is the motto we live by.

That's an excellent use of space Billy. However, it makes me want to "KISS". I hope that everyone knows what KISS stands for. It almost looks like you work for a living.... Dare I say that I'm intimidated by your rig?

Drove around a Box Truck for years, just take the back door off. A rolling billboard, really miss the sales it generated, but flatbed is easier to work out of.
thank u for the advise, i'll focus on those. where am at we have a few truck scales, would it be required to go through them? i heard they do inspections, would it be a problem carrying the"Love" at the back of the truck? maybe somebody here knows. ty,RJ

Ya know, I just realized that I don't see allot of ladders hanging off of these rigs. Here in Montgomery, Buck, Berks, Chester counties PA, we need 40' ladders on a regular basis. For those of us with flat beds, the ladder rack can make for a good place to advertise.

Nice pics, thanks for the view. We will be putting our 1 st truck / rig together in early Jan. 2010. We bought a Chevy 1 ton flat bed truck and from your shots it looks like the way to go.

I noticed earlier in the post that you were seeking idea's of walking this roof. From the picture it looks like a Montair tile. Very easily walked. We have cleaned several hundred tile roofs over the years and we find that when you walk them it is best to place you feet where the tiles overlapped. This gives you double thickness and the tile below the one you will be standing on is suppose to be attached to the roof with either screws or nails. ALWAYS test the surface for slickness and make certian of your footing. We've experienced tiles that were not attached. NOT FUN! Good luck and happy cleaning!
Here is our roof cleaning portland oregon rig. All the doors stay open, and I am going to buy something else to be dedicated soon, 40k van doesn't like SH that much.

Mark. I understand about the SH. I had a one ton van that got destroyed by SH. I do like your truck though, it's beautiful.
I feel like I'm in a pickle because I want to maintain my "high end" image by buying something pretty but, I it's nuts to spend a ton of money on a nice rig because it's gonna get wrecked by SH. I just aint fair man!
