I also tried this product. Spent 6.5 hours trying to clean a 1200 sq. ft. roof. Used 4 pkgs of product, supposed to clean 3000 sq. ft. Roof still looked terrible. When you spray it on, you get a "coffee" looking solution running off the shingle. Probably disolving the shingle. I complained to the company and they are refunding the purchase price. Yesterday I placed an order with Lori for all the equipment that I need to do this business correctly. Waiting on delivery to put it all together, and then I'll go back and re-do the house I started. Hope to make this big in Louisville Ky. Thanks for this forum, it is really helpful. Gary
QSE = Garbage. This was also the first product I ordered and it really didnt even do any thing. It was almost like they repackged some detergent and sold it for alot more money.. How are they still selling that crap. No joke I did my own roof and then I did my friends and it didnt do a thing..
I tried this product as well when I just started doing roofs. I put it in a backpack sprayer to apply it, but it leaked all over my back and actually burned me a little. After I applied it to my tile roof, and tried rinsing it off, I had to use my surface cleaner to actually get the roof clean. I don't think that this product is any better than chlorine and haven't used it since.
I have used the QSE as well. I got a little on hand and it burned for hours even after rinsing it well. I couldn't imagine spraying that stuff like you do the SH. You would look like a burn victim.
All the newer folks getting into the roof cleaning business definitely have an advantage as far as finding the right information on how to clean roofs properly. Just the fact of having websites like this that are dedicated to supplying the right information as well as having vendors that sell specific equipment for roof cleaning makes the whole learning curve much easier. I'm not an old timer, but when I got started 8 years ago it was very difficult piecing together the right information. I almost got suckered into buying a pitch witch for Gods sake.

So, did ya ever make it big?
I think you not only made it, you are probably the biggest asset RCIA has, all by yourself! And I am 100% serious!

In my former days I used QSE. This is what you have to do. Mix the package up pump spray it on the roof wait 25 minutes keeping it wet then use low pressure with a pressure washer to rinse it off. It worked but you worked your _ off & it was all wrong. I knew I had to be doing something wrong to that roof. It was then I stumbbled on to my friends at RCIA. So now I have a weird fondness for QSE.
Dude, not to change the subject but, I love your logo! Did Keith @ KBK do it?
His logo is pretty nice! I checked it out.
