adding to mix to slow drying time in hot climates

hey fellas...

am thinking about adding something to my mix to slow down the drying time ... its hot and sunny here in aussi at the moment and an afraid my mix is going to fry on some of these tile roofs...

have considered cleaning roofs earlier in the day or later in the evening but would like something for when im forced to clean in the suns full force...

any suggestions...

im already using tsp and more surfactant than usual...

Some pre wet the roof if it is too hot. You can mist the roof to keep it damp also.

Apply the mix first,... and keep it glistning with water to prevent drying. The first thing the mold needs to drink is the mix, you don't want to give a drink of water first. Think of it as a sponge,...will a wet or dry sponge soak up more liquid.
Earlier in the day may be the best option,...or at least out of direct sunlight.

I've wondered the same thing. I've just been spraying more cleaner up there because I was afraid of diluting it too much by adding water.  This was helpful.
