more LOVE for tile roofs??

A stronger version of the mix is normally used on Tile Roof Cleanings. One of the main reasons for this is because there is considerably more runoff on a Tile Roof than what you get on a Shingle Roof. You also have to take into consideration the degree of difficulty such as the pitch of the Roof and how infested the Roof is with mold and algae. There are a lot of different things to consider which can change the way( How potent) you will make your mix.

thanks a lot mate...

ive got a roof which is extremely steep...any suggestions for thickening up the mix so it doesnt run off as much??

There are a bunch of different thickeners such as np-9 etc... but I normally just add more soap to my mix for extra steep Roofs. I hate taking the chance on ruining my pumps with extra thickeners and such.

I been reading that nearly all roof cleaners walk the tile roofs because you need to be sure to clean all three edges, however under what conditions shouldn't you walk the roofs?

Just kidding!
Seriously, if you are a BIG Guy, many times you are better off training a smaller helper for tile roofs.
Or, shoot them from the ground, as much as you can.
Excess weight WILL break tiles, even if you walk correctly on them.
But many modern tile roofs can handle it.
It is the older tile roofs you must watch.

I have trained so many roof cleaners over the years, it is hard to remember them all.
I had a groundman that was an honest to God EX Hells Angels enforcer, complete with a Swastika tattooed on his bald head!
He stood 6 ft 4, and weighed 285, solid muscle, wih 18 inch arms, He worked part time as a bouncer. He was as tuff a Guy as I have ever met. I did not see him down below, and he got "Baptized" by me, with the Apple Sauce!
He went right to his knees, weeping like a spanked child.
He KEPT crying "My eyes, my eyes" as I was rinsing him off.
I have got the stuff in my eyes, and plenty!
I always carry a bottle of eyedrops with just distilled water in it, just in case ?
