It's crazy, the guy advertises in a bi-weekly coupon book that I know isn't cheap...he claims to be insured and the ad printed his license number on it. I checked it out too. He pretty much low balls everything... housewash $75 etc. HE claims "no upselling' etc.

Prime Choice Power Wash LLC Roof Cleaning Kissimmee Florida
I feel ya Nick, I have the not quiet that problem but I do see it around Virginia Beach, VA area. I had a community I had done a lot of work in over the years and one specific company in my area does the low balling all the time. They do the splash and dash on roof cleaning, they charge only 240.00 in an area that I try and charge 400.00 for and people don't understand why. I try to point out these guys do not bag gutters, there ground guy does not spend proper time rinsing, they only spend less than an hour to do a roof and they are gone. Luckily they killed some plants on a few of the neighbors homes so that was a plus for me, and for pressure washing they use a cold machine and not a heated hot skid machine like ours that are in the box trucks.
Try and find what you do better and expose there faults or mistakes, this may help your business.
Not always but,...unfortunately, there are actually guys who can charge these low prices and be legit. They typically have a full time job that is paying their expenses, while building a name in the cleaning services. My advice is to charge what you need to to suit your own needs and don't try to be competitive in pricng with these guys,...you'll put yourself under and be seriusly unhappy on the slide down.
Stop complaining....go around snag your jobs for 400 then hire him to clean it!
LOL if it was that easy, I hear ya though about doing what you can do to be competitive and it is hard. I try to also to ensure that I get paid for what I do but I have lost jobs because I did not low ball. As for a full time job I do have that also but I also work full time for my self plus I have 5 guys who work for me. Good luck guys and just keep trying to make your self better than the other guy.
