Caustic soda beads is also another name for Sodium Hydroxide or Lye.

Bleach is the same thing as Sodium Hypochlorite

Chlorine is a gas.

Sodium Hypochlorite is the liquid form of Chlorine.

My vendor uses IPA for iopropyl. Any others???  LOL

As a total newbie a glossary or index of terms is a great thing. It is an education that will promote and protect the industry. I have been working around construction sites, houses ,and fire trucks for years and traing people right is the key to success
in anything. I personally feel lucky to have access to all this info!!!

How about "bulk head" tank?  Not sure what that means but I do know that Chris doesn't like them....so I don't like 'em either....whatever they are.  A picture would help I think.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Bulkhead is just the wall/shell of any tank. Not a type of tank. Just like in the navy, any wall especially exterior is a bulkhead.

It is the holes that are put in the bulkhead that are not preferred vs. the openings at the top of any tank. Thus SH does not affect the gasket that is used to seal a side/bottom bulkhead cut/whole.
